Heavy birdie tournaments.

PGA tour events that end on Sunday with the leader posting a -28 are boring and suck to watch.

Maybe it’s a jealousy thing? Probably…I’m not really sure, but it feels like the guys aren’t challenged enough. Even if a shot is hit into the bunker guys get up and down or hole out like it’s nothing. Obviously these guys are the best in the world but the hazards should be hazards. The American Express is currently boring me to death. I️ have to watch it though because it’s the only taste of golf I️ can really get aside from watching golf YouTube channels. Sam Burns is currently leading the tourney at -17 and it’s Saturday.

Tournaments that end at -10 to -12 are the best. Guys get punished for unnecessary risks and bad shots. Just thinking out loud…I️ still watch and frankly I️ still love it I️ just think less birdies make the tournaments a lot more intense and fun to watch.
